The Roundup: Vegan Stuff I LOVE!

November 28, 2018   /   byrunningwhilevegan  / Categories :  Food, Review, Running

It is a fantastic time to be vegan, my friends! New food items and apparel brands come out everyday, and I am LIVING FOR IT!

Here are some of my new (and new-to-me) faves!

Coffee Mate’s new line of vegan creamers are absolutely delicious! They are very sweet, and normally I don’t take sugar in my coffee (or in the soy milk that goes in my coffee), but these creamers have me singing a different tune! Hazelnut and vanilla are my fave flavors, and of course I have to show of my Café Du Monde mug from N’awlins! I can usually find this creamer at Target, large grocery chains and when I’m real lucky, Grocery Outlet.

This whip tastes like the 90s to me, but only because I ate a lot of Reddi Wip back then. My family always had it avail in the fridge! TGIF on the TV + an ice cream sundae was a magical entrance to the weekend. Since going vegan I’ve had my share of delicious whip creams, the best being Cocowhip (reminiscent of Coolwhip) and homemade coconut whip. But you know what. Sometimes I want to taste the 90s, and not in the form of Crystal Pepsi (which now that I see back on the shelves I will probably totally buy and be disappointed by again, 30 years later, but we all have to live our truths). Anyway, I love this whip because it tastes like Reddi Wip, which wasn’t even a flavor I knew I missed so much until I got to squirt it straight in my mouth after 12 years of being vegan. I have found this whip at Target, Vons/Safeway, and the Socal grocery chain, Stater Bros.

Annie’s new cheddar mac is scrumptious! It’s a vegan, organic version of Kraft Mac, another fave of mine from the 90s (and college, if I’m being honest). I don’t why the Earth Balance mac got pulled from shelves, but I miss it, and this version brought me back! I love it. I found it at Target and Sprouts, but not in Whole Foods or grocery superstores yet.

Vegan Power Co apparel! I love this tank top, and basically wear it every opportunity I can. I bought it with the mindset I’d wear it for running, but I liked it so much it got upgraded to my reg wardrobe (which, as you can see, still looks like I can take off running at a moment’s notice but comfy rules everything around me soooo). I can’t promise it will attract a cool vegan gang like Jackie or Shayanne, but you never know!

Quick Yoga For the Mornings, Especially For Those Of Us That Don’t Workout In The Morning!

As I’ve gotten older, I find myself relishing in early mornings and even, dare I say it, early bedtimes! It hasn’t always been like this, not by a long shot, and my family still expects me to sleep til noon when visit. I used to revel in the quiet of 3am, usually because I’d get […]

I try to enjoy egg nog (non-dairy for the last 12 years) the same way I try to enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies: with no dice. I’m not a fan, but that doesn’t stop me from trying every year with new movies and new beverage brands. Well, thank goodness for that resilient attitude because I’ve realized […]
