Long Time, No Posts

Hello! It’s been awhile, and I miss you lil running blog. I think about you all the time. Here’s the deal: my beloved Macbook Pro bit the dust, I completed the LA Marathon and then what felt like almost immediately, started training for another half marathon. And while it’s not impossible to blog on a mobile device, it’s not…the best. After a long day of work and training, I hardly feel like doing anything, especially not finagling blog posts on a phone, haha. But I miss this, and even if it means short posts, it’s a worthwhile investment of time! I love talking about running!

I also found a new fave arm workout from Tone It Up. Whew, it will get your chest, shoulders and triceps worked out, which just so happen to be all my fave places to hit. Those are the muscles that make arms look strong and toned! Find the video here!

Let me just start by addressing the elephant in the room here; it’s been awhile. A really long while. And even though so many things have stayed the same, things have changed as well! First of all, Mike and I got engaged at the finish line of my first ultra in Alaska — the Anchorage […]

And With 2019 Comes New Races, New Challenges, New Distances and Stronger Training!

Mike and I moved to Orange County on Halloween night and so much has changed since then, and since my last post in December! We started eating much healthier, both of us dropping about 10lbs each. I started working at a specialty run shop, so my knowledge about shoes, shoe fittings, nutrition and apparel has […]

Hip Flexibility for all Your Mobility Needs! Seriously, it’s Important. Ask Me How.

I know as of late my blog is starting to look like a Yoga With Adriene fan site, but what can I say? I’m a huge fan and her yoga videos have helped me and my running tremendously. Stumbling across her Yoga For Beginners video on YouTube is what got the fitness ball rolling for […]
