Jenny’s the Name, (Easy) Vegan Glamour is the Game!November 30, 2018 / byrunningwhilevegan / Categories : Beauty, Review, Running
I love vegan beauty products almost as much as I love food products and running! Sometimes I’m that runner with make-up on, because hey! My photo is being captured! Now, I’m no Miss Miriam or Vegan Beauty Addict, but I can manage winged eyeliner, just don’t ask me about much else — contouring, what?
There are a few vegan make-up products out there I just love, and always replace when they run out! They do the hard work of making me look good, with the added benefit of making me feel like I know what I’m doing when I apply them!
Too-Faced Better Than Sex mascara! I’ve been using this for YEARS! It’s definitely a desert island pick for me – I don’t care if I’m the only person washed up on my tropical island, I like to look good for me (while gathering coconuts and reading the same book over and over and over again). The Too-Faced website is very clear about which products are vegan, so happy shopping!
Too-Faced Lip Injection! I like layering this one over a little bit of lipstick, but it will also give your lips a little bit of color on it’s own, as it gets the blood circulating in the area with it’s plumping ingredients – it tingles and if you have sensitive skin, use with caution (I have sensitive skin, and it’s fine but the first time you use it can be a little exhilarating and cause slight redness). I’m a fan of both Lip Injection and Lip Injection Extreme.

As I’ve gotten older, I find myself relishing in early mornings and even, dare I say it, early bedtimes! It hasn’t always been like this, not by a long shot, and my family still expects me to sleep til noon when visit. I used to revel in the quiet of 3am, usually because I’d get […]read more
I try to enjoy egg nog (non-dairy for the last 12 years) the same way I try to enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies: with no dice. I’m not a fan, but that doesn’t stop me from trying every year with new movies and new beverage brands. Well, thank goodness for that resilient attitude because I’ve realized […]read more
2018 was a pretty busy summer for me, race-wise. For the first time in about 10 years, I had weekends off and I signed up for EVERYTHING. The opportunity to be able to race like that was a precious time not lost on me; now that Mike and I have moved to Huntington Beach, I’m […]read more
