It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the YEAR! (Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s time!)November 27, 2018 / byrunningwhilevegan / Categories : Food, Review, Running
Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s are back on the shelves, and they are vegan! One year (2016), I stockpiled boxes, and found out the cookies have the ability to stay fresh until July. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! (My bday is actually in July and I opened them for it.) How long can they stay perfect? I don’t know, it was a summer miracle I was able to keep an unopened box that long, and I’m not sure I see that much self-control in my future.
Happy seasonal eating! Or year-round, cause now you have new facts!
Oh yea, Starbuck’s Peppermint Mochas are vegan too (non-dairy milk, no whip), and I forgive winter for being so depressing with it’s short days and chilly weather (mostly the short days, it’s California, and at the end of November it’s barely cooling off). It’s peppermint season, baby!!!!

I try to enjoy egg nog (non-dairy for the last 12 years) the same way I try to enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies: with no dice. I’m not a fan, but that doesn’t stop me from trying every year with new movies and new beverage brands. Well, thank goodness for that resilient attitude because I’ve realized […]read more
2018 was a pretty busy summer for me, race-wise. For the first time in about 10 years, I had weekends off and I signed up for EVERYTHING. The opportunity to be able to race like that was a precious time not lost on me; now that Mike and I have moved to Huntington Beach, I’m […]read more
